Last Nov. 2019 I had a UTI. Got antibiotics, no more symptoms. The end of this May I wasn't up tp par and one day it felt like something exploded in my low back. After an hour I told my husband it's time to go to the hospital. Got there and because of Covid they took my temp. They said she has a fever and took me aside. That's the last I knew. Husband said they chalked it up to back pain, gave me pain meds and sent me home. Husband said all I did was moan for three hours. Finally he called 911. They couldn't get anything out of me except moaning. They took me back to hospital and this time they did blood work. My blood was full of infection. I didn't know anything till I had been in there for 3 days. My UTI had gone sepsis and I was on the verg of not making it. Spent 2 weeks in the hospital and 4 weeks in a skilled nursing facility. Had 5 weeks of strong iv's. Finally went home. After 2 months at home I found the test strips and tested because I wasn't feeling good. Found that I had another UTI. Took picture sent it to doctor to see if she believed the tests. They called and I went in and their test showed positive. Took antibiotics. Been off of them and I tested and it showed trace. Will monitor. I'm glad you make these test strips because after antibiotics in November it wasn't gone and it stewed in my body till I was full of the infection. I don't want to go through that ever again. THANK YOU AZO! I need to try and build up a supply because I owe hospital $40,000.

Didn't know there was a home test for UTIs. So glad that I found one. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital and 4 weeks in a nursing care center from having a UTI that I got meds for (symptoms cleared up with 5 days of antibiotics. Everything cleared up or so I thought. For six months the infection was brewing in my body till it went sepsis and filled my blood and body. It also got into the spinal discs which caused excruciating pain. It came to a head and I was completely out of it. I knew nothing for 3 days and fayght for my life. All of those 6 weeks I was on strong IV s to help my body fight so I could live. Older people a lot of times don't have symptoms like the burning. Ive been home for 7 weeks.......found the Azo UTI test strips and found that I had another UTI with NO symptoms. I wasnt sure that was accurate so I did 3 in 3 days, took a picture of them and wrote an email and sent the email and picture to the doctor saying that I didn't know if they were accurate and what should I do. She had her assistant call and tell me to come in for a test and to see her. Well the doctors test said that I had a UTI for sure! I will be testing at least once to twice a month because I don't want to go through this all again. It is going to cost me about $42,000 for my portion of the $210,000 bill. The $12 is much less than the hospital and rehab center!!!

I am updating a review...
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·BLJ1252
I am updating a review that I posted a few days ago. Here's why:\nThe Azo test strip I used turned out to CORRECTLY indicate a possible UTI. (I followed directions for a "clean catch" and used 1st morning sample. I think that's helpful to pick up an infection) It came out positive/positive so I went to an urgent care for follow up. \nThe urgent care clinic's test strip did NOT indicate an infection and I was told it wasn't likely that I had a UTI. Because I had mild symptoms, the sample was sent for a culture. \nTurns out the Azo test strip CORRECTLY picked up the infection as the culture came back with significant bacterial growth and I was then started on antibiotics.\nSo I take back the negative review I posted--Azo test strip was accurate and helped me decide to see a doctor and request a culture.

These strips are easy to use, and if you do have a UTI, it's easy to read because of the color chart on the packaging and inside. If it comes up positive on the strip, take a picture of the strip so that you can show the doctor the results. They may want to do one from their office anyway, but my doc was fine with the picture to confirm the diagnosis to get me started on antibiotics. There are 3 strips in the package and it may cause you to be concerned about the price, but there's no disputing the price for the peace of mind or confirmation of what you may have going on with your body. It's so quick and easy to use! Highly recommend having this on-hand as part of your bathroom cabinet necessities.

I've dealt with recurring UTIs for years, and these at-home test strips have been a lifesaver. They give me quick peace of mind whenever I start to feel symptoms, without immediately rushing to urgent care.\n\nThe instructions were clear and easy to follow, even if you've never used a test strip before. Each strip tests for leukocytes and nitrites — the two key indicators of a UTI — and the color chart included is easy to read. I had my results in under 2 minutes.\n\nAccuracy has been great so far. On one occasion, the test detected an issue that was later confirmed by a lab test. On other occasions when the strips were negative, I was able to avoid unnecessary doctor visits.

I’ve used AZO UTI Test Strips multiple times, and they are a lifesaver! The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, and the results are quick and reliable. It gives peace of mind knowing I can check for a UTI at home before deciding if I need to see a doctor.\n\nThe color-coded results chart is simple to interpret, and the packaging keeps the strips secure and hygienic. I’ve compared the results to a lab test before, and they were spot on!\n\nThese strips are also super convenient when traveling or when you can’t get to a doctor right away. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who experiences frequent UTIs or wants a quick and accurate way to check their symptoms.

First starting using the AZO UTI test strips when I was a caregiver for my mom. She had Alzheimers and couldn't communicate. I watched for signs of bladder infections but these strips made it very easy. Her doctor accepted results of the test strips. All I did was call with the results and she would prescribe medications. What a life saver for a caregiver. \r\nThis week I used it for myself for the first time. I got into doctor immediately, they did their own test and bingo, bladder infection. I love this product and always have it on hand.

The product was easy enough to use, but it was still confusing. The instructions says to see results after "1 to 2 minutes.\r\nOut of curiosity, I examined the results 10 minutes later and the colors changed. Is it suppose to darken over time and are we suppose to read result only within that time frame?

Also these are individually\nWrapped so you don't have to use them up right away like the ones that aren't individually wrapped. Once again Walmart had the best price around.

Well I ordered this for the Wifey. She gets a UTIs now and then. I guess it worked as I haven't heard any more complaints. The Wifey's short urethra could be the cause if bacteria enters the bladder. I don't have that issue, my urethra is VERY long bacteria dies trying to climb in my bladder. \nI am 80 and have never had a problem. Some of us are just LUCKY I guess. LOL JF

I took the results of the strip with me so the Dr. cam compare and they confirmed what the strips stated with their own test that I had a UTI.

I have been a lifelong AZO user. As someone who has Cystitis, these strips for testing come in handy since it is hard to tell whether or not an infection. From my experience these do work. Saves you a trip for a urinalysis. I do feel the box should have at least 4 tests instead of 3. Sometimes you need to test twice to be sure.
