Reviewed on www.walmart.com·Susan
I had old linoleum squares in my bathroom that my grandson started helping me remove. The only problem was, I had nothing that would soften and remove the adhesive. I tried everything from nail polish remover (acetone) to alcohol to hand sanitizer (ya never know) and nothing helped very much. Finally ordered the large spray bottle of Goo-Gone Pro-Power! Voila! This took all the adhesive off very easily. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me was the smell. Since it really did the job, I will gladly overlook the odor of oil or distillates or what-have-you. After it took off the residue, it was easy to clean up with regular cleaner to eliminate the smell. It's my go-to now for anything sticky or even paint clean up!

Great product!

I bought this GooGone after spilling hot wax in my car! It removed all the wax from my stearing column, my custom made seat cover, my clothes and the carpet. I was very impressed that no residue was left behind. I used many fresh cloths to be sure not to spread the wax. My clothes look fine without wax or color changes. I've been using Goo Gone on everything that I can think of- tape residue gone in seconds. Decal removal made easy! If its sticky, it's gone! For you wondering about how the wax got spilled- I use unlit scenced candles in my car to keep it smelling fabulous. Someone else put the candle on the dash. When I grabbed it the next day, it burned my hand and I spilled wax everywhere, including my face. No injuries where incurred.

I used it to remove labels on glass jars. I had removed the paper first then ran them through the dishwasher. I slowly poured it over the paper/adhesive layer remaining. I let it sit 1-2 minutes then scrubbed with a dry paper towel. It all came off. Be aware that even though it smells like oranges, it is toxic. I washed the jars with soapy water before putting them in the dishwasher with other dishes. I just wanted to make sure no residue stayed behind or got on other things in the dishwasher.

I've been using Goo Gone for decades, to clean off sticky residue from stickers/labels.\nIt works very well!\nAs I recall, I once used it to get sharpie marker stains out of carpeting, and it worked for that, too! (Friends have told me that it works to get gum or silly putty out of clothing/bedding, and even children's hair!)\nThe only drawback of this product is that it's a bit oily, and after using it to get the goo off, you then have to wash the object well with dish detergent (or laundry detergent or shampoo), to get the Goo Gone off. (When I used it on carpeting, I then cleaned that section of carpet with some kind of carpet cleaning product.)

This product was effective in removing the adhesive residue leftover from removing protective plastic film from a used door mirror that I bought to replace a broken one on my car. The product works slowly, but it didn’t mar the finish on the mirror. I recommend this product. Don’t expect it to be a “spray on wipe off” solution. It required several hours of scraping on a relatively small surface area to achieve optimum results.

This item is a perfect solution, if you want to clear up sticky tape residue from hard objects like tables, desks, containers, school computers that may have student names posted on them. Once you spray the substance, let it sit for a few minutes then be prepared to scrape of the residue with a damp cloth. Depending on how sticky the surface is, you might have to but some elbow work into it :D but once you're finished it will look absolutely amazing. You will have a clear surface to be used or labeled again.

I needed this product to remove some tape residue stuck in my truck's outer body. I could remove the sticky stuff with the Goo Gone Pro Power without damaging the truck's paint. After this, I also used it to remove sticker residue from a mixed nut plastic container. It only took a few sprays to remove all the residue. What I like about this product is that it does not leave a strong odor after washing with water and regular hand soap. Applying this product with a spray makes this a less messy...

There was nothing to dislike about it...just a few drops on my iMac "magic mouse" and a small bit of guaze, the stickiness on top of it was GONE. I was so amazed! I did wear a chemical safe rubber glove because I know chemicals can be very abrasive on human skin. And that is what I did: glove on, turn it "on" and very gently squeeze the handle and out comes the drops right where I wanted them. It's a product we will definitely keep in our garage. Thankful that someone made this!

It is the best oven cleaner that i have ever used, even better than self-cleaning. The fumes were minimal (hardly any odor) and the clean up was fast. I recommend that every surface sprayed be dried up completely. When I turned on the oven the left over solution that I did not see or clean up made a large smoke cloud,( that did smell). The oven almost looks new. The grills need a good scrubbing but still easier and cleaner than other cleaning solutions I've used.

I've been a fan of Goo Gone for a long time. This is the first bottle I've seen with the pump spray which is so great. I have a lot more control over how much is coming out of the bottle. I use it in my shop to remove glue, tape residue, stickers, etc. I use it to clean the tools after applying bonding on Formica, which can be a real mess. My brother was shocked when I returned his tools so clean.. I think my favorite thing is the citrusy smell of it!!

This is one of the best products I have ever used. I don't depend on any other brand. My newest discovery is to apply the product to labels without attempting to remove them. I skip the energy and effort in trying to remove the label and then deal with the adhesive residue and stripped paper. Simply apply, wait a bit, lift the label off and wipe excess product. My rating for the residue is only because the residual product has to be washed away.

Fairly Safe Solvent for Most Adhesives and Gums
Reviewed on www.lowes.com·DFPhomeowner
This product removes most adhesives and gums. I end up using it for non-water based adhesives as a last resort. It can dissolve some plastics, finishes, paints, and inks. If water or alcohol aren't working, then I try this product as a last effort. It is much safer than paint thinner, and a lot safer than acetone. Those alternative solvents are for desperate measures in a well ventilated area, and can really damage a lot of stuff.

Removes sticky message effectively. On some jobs, it comes off really quickly. But for the years-old sticky stuff on my stove hood, it took a lot of elbow grease. But the fact that it can get any of that off at all proves this is a godo product. I've used regular Goo Gone (not the spray gel) and this smells better and the thickness allows me to use it on vertical surfaces. I'm never going back!

That part does suck for migraine sufferers but it works so I would still recommend it.
